The Work Is Not Done Until It’s Out in Public

I’ve been thinking about all of my unfinished projects lately. They’ve been weighing on me for many years now. For some, I’ve been able to let go, for others they are still sitting there waiting for me to finish them.

I find that this is also the case for projects that I have finished making but haven’t yet photographed and shared online, released it out into the wild to be accepted or ignored.

I’m tired of feeling flightly. Like I can’t commit to anything. Like I have a million ideas and can’t follow through on them. So I want to start small. I have a notebook of creative ideas where I mark down which ones I have started and which ones I have finished. What if I just started going through all the in progress ones and finished them?

Each completed project would be a little win to bolster myself for the big projects I’m trying to complete in life. I want to be the kind of person that follows through, so I’m going to start today. This is me finishing this post and actually putting it online.
